National Criminal Law Program Registration is Open!

Registration for the 39th National Criminal Law Program is now open. Presented by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, the NCLP is Canada’s premier CLE and networking conference for the criminal bar. Surrogate Forms

It is expected that the new Wills & Succession Act will be proclaimed February 1, 2012. This will impact the Surrogate Rules and Forms. The Chief Justice and Associate Chief Justice, Court of Queen’s Bench have issued a Notice to the Profession concerning the amendments to the Surrogate Rules and Forms, and a grace period to April 30, 2012, to allow the profession to adapt to these amendments. LESA is working closely with senior officials in Alberta Justice and the Attorney-General to provide the profession in Alberta with timely and accurate access to the new Surrogate Forms. Details will be posted when available.
