We’ve made improvements to our website and registration system to ensure a smoother customer experience. The changes allow us to enhance our delivery of online programs, enhance our delivery of e-materials for all live programs, and automate discounts for new lawyers, students, and legal support staff. We’ve updated our policy on program registrations and resource purchases requiring all orders to be completed using your own individual LESA.org account.
What’s Changing?
Program Registrations
All program registrations must now be completed using the attendee’s LESA.org account. This change does not apply to previously purchased program registrations.
Automatic Discounts
New Lawyers (10%), Students (25%), and Legal Support Staff (10%)
If you are a new lawyer (called within five years), student, or legal support staff, any applicable discounts will now be automatically applied to your order when you are logged into your LESA.org account — no extra steps or coupon codes needed*. As long as your account reflects your eligibility, you’ll see your discounted pricing on qualifying programs and resources at checkout.
Why the Change?
These changes are designed to:
- Enhance the overall customer experience
- Ensure easy and accurate application of discounts to eligible users
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of access credentials for online programs
- Improve our delivery of e-materials to program attendees, making it easier to access them before and after a program has run
What You Need to Do
- If you haven’t already done so, create your individual LESA.org account
- Or, log into your existing LESA.org account and click on “Account Information” to update your role, call year, or anticipated call year to enable automatic discounts for new lawyers, students, and legal support staff, as applicable
