This paper provides an introduction to current mental health research as well as an overview of the issues facing lawyers and suggestions from both research and lawyer experience that can be put into practice to preserve and protect mental health. Although this paper includes some content specific to family law practice, it also includes general information relevant to lawyers in any practice area.
