Rhiannon graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English in June 2017. Before LESA, Rhiannon worked in FOIP at the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General.
Now a Legal Assistant and assistant for the Alberta CPLED Program, Rhiannon works hard to keep LESA’s Educational Resources up to date and to ensure that the CPLED Program runs smoothly. Record-keeping, grade processing, producing materials, and updating the LESA Library with new resources are just some of the many moving pieces Rhiannon manages.
Outside the office, one of Rhiannon’s favourite things to do is watch hockey. An avid cardio addict (from a lifetime of being a Ukrainian dancer), she also loves to mix in a spin class here and there.
When asked what she likes best about her job, Rhiannon let us know that she enjoys that her job is consistently changing. “I encounter something new every day, and there’s always an opportunity to learn.”
In the coffee vs. tea debate, Rhiannon enjoys both; coffee at work and tea at home. She can also throw a mean spiral football and can almost always parallel park perfectly on the first try.
