Gavin Fitch QC | McLennan Ross LLP | Calgary

Gavin Fitch QC practices in the areas of environmental and energy regulatory law. He regularly represents clients before administrative tribunals such as the Alberta Energy Regulator (formerly the Energy Resources Conservation Board and the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board), the Alberta Utilities Commission, the National Energy Board, the Alberta Environmental Appeals Board, and the Surface Rights Board and the Land Compensation Board. Nolan Johnson | Huckvale LLP | Lethbridge

Nolan was born and raised in Lethbridge. He attended the University of Alberta, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (2002) and Bachelor of Laws (2005) degrees. As Nolan is fluent in Spanish, he minored in Spanish as well during his undergraduate studies prior to law school. Upon graduation, Nolan articled and gained valuable experience at Carscallen LLP, a prominent law firm in downtown Calgary. After 2 years, he moved home to begin practice in Lethbridge at Huckvale Wilde Harvie MacLennan LLP. In 2009, Nolan accepted an in-house position with a Calgary based biofuels company where he acted as General Counsel. Nolan re-joined the firm in the spring of 2011. Read more.

Hugh Willis | Willis Law | Edmonton

Hugh Willis was called to the Alberta bar in 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, class of 2004. In 2000, Hugh completed his undergraduate degree in the Applied Energy Program at the University of Calgary Department of Economics, where he graduated with Dean’s List standing. Hugh has appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal, the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Immigration and Refugee Board, and the Immigration Appeal Division. Read more.

William Dushenski | Blakely + Dushenski | Edmonton

William Dushenski shares a valued, common sense approach to real estate law and related litigation with his clients. He also maintains a personal injury practice, which allows him to assist clients involved in the most severe injuries including estate claims. He is a past program Director and Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Civil Litigation Section in which he continues to be active. He is also a member of the Real Estate, Construction Law, and Insurance Sections. Mr. Dushenski has appeared in trial and Appeal Courts throughout Alberta and the NWT. Read more.
