   From ensuring your clients and beneficiaries understand what trusts do, to protecting trusts from litigation down the road, what the trust document says (or does not say) is important. Experienced faculty will provide tips, identify potential trips and traps, and discuss strategies to ensure that you draft clear and unambiguous trusts.

2. Estate freeze trusts
   Assembling the right team is key to helping your business clients preserve wealth as part of their broader succession and tax planning. This presentation will provide insights into how to navigate typical “meat and potatoes” high value trust requests.

3. Trusts for disabled beneficiaries
   When drafting a trust for families with a disabled family member, maintaining government income support and programming is paramount. This presentation will provide the framework to guide clients through the engagement from identifying the needs, to doing the planning, to delivering the trust product. It will also include mechanisms to build in income tax advantages and protect assets.

4. Testamentary trusts
   Testamentary trusts can serve useful purposes, when constructed correctly. This presentation will explore how to draft meaningful and effective will clauses for infant beneficiaries. It will also delve into the advantages and dangers of building spousal trusts in wills.
