After graduating with high distinction in her Bachelor of Arts in English degree, Bronwyn worked at an insurance company in customer support, as a student advisor at Concordia University Edmonton, and as a show-home hostess before making her way to LESA in 2013.
As an Education Coordinator, Bronwyn plays an active role working with our CPLED Program. She is the main support and contact for the CPLED Program’s online Facilitators and Evaluators; she creates their schedules, provides them with materials, and assists them with anything else they need. Bronwyn is also involved in the development of CPLED materials and the posting of CPLED grades.
In addition to working with the CPLED Facilitators and Evaluators, what does Bronwyn most enjoy about being at LESA? The atmosphere of working where “everyone does their best to support one another.” Part of building that atmosphere of trust and respect involves sharing hearty laughs over dessert, and one of Bronwyn’s most favorite foods is pecan pie. But she also loves chocolate. And lemon squares. And … well, you get the idea.
When Bronwyn isn’t busy putting her attention to detail and communication skills to good use at LESA, she loves to get outdoors playing soccer, going cycling, skiing, and camping in the mountains. She thinks Ireland has been her favorite vacation spot so far, but there are still so many places left for her and her husband to explore! One goal for the future is travel through all of the Canadian provinces to get to know our country better. If she can get away from the U6 soccer team she helps coach and her close-knit family's weekly dinners (which she loves!), maybe she’ll get to cross some of those Canadian destinations off of her vacation wish list this summer.
