Justice Jerke is a justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench, originally resident in Lethbridge, now in Edmonton.
Since September 2018 he has been the Court’s Co-Convenor of the Reforming the Family Justice System initiative working to re-imagine the family justice system.
He practiced civil litigation in Lethbridge and was a lecturer and team leader in the LESA advanced trial advocacy course. He was a Bencher (governor), Chair of the Conduct committee, and then President of the Law Society from 2010-2011.
He was founding President of Pro Bono Law Alberta. He served in a number of community organizations.
