An Overview of the Mechanics of Real Estate Transaction Closing (On-Demand) About Faculty About Understanding what is needed to close a real estate transaction is fundamental for conveyancing lawyers. In Alberta there are three methods to close: a traditional closing, a title insured closing, and a “Protocol” closing. Review an overview of each, along with a review of mortgage only transactions.
