Judge S.A. Cleary

Stephanie A. Cleary was appointed to the Provincial Court of Alberta (Edmonton Region) in October 2008.  She received her law degree from Dalhousie University in 1989.  She was a Crown Prosecutor in Nova Scotia appearing at every level of Court and in the Supreme Court of Canada.  She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1997, practicing in Medicine Hat first as a defence lawyer and then with Alberta Justice prior to her appointment to the bench.  Judge Cleary sits in Fort McMurray where she hears Criminal, Civil and Family Law cases.
