This paper provides tips for trial, and discusses the essential building blocks for each step in the conduct of a trial, with the intention of delivering a basic and straightforward map to planning a trial. It includes detailed information on how to prepare for trial, how to prepare a witness for trial, how to deal with exhibits at trial, strategies for examination in chief, cross-examination, and impeaching a witness,  and tips for making impactful opening and closing statements.
