LESA is saddened to hear of the passing of John M. Hope KC on December 28, 2022. John was a long-time LESA supporter and served as faculty for our Intensive Advocacy program. As a senior member of the litigation group at Duncan Craig LLP, his practice of 53 years focused primarily on commercial litigation, insurance law, labour law, product liability, and alternative dispute resolution.
Known as the “lawyer’s lawyer”, the contributions John made to the Alberta legal community throughout his career will be fondly remembered.
