This on-demand program will provide you with a toolkit to identify, unpack, and intervene in systemic racism within legal institutions and your own practice, and is applicable to anyone working within the legal profession. Moving beyond a diversity and inclusion lens, this session encourages members of the legal community to develop an anti-racist framework.
Participants are introduced to key terms and concepts, guided through a case study, and encouraged to work through a scenario to unpack multiple layers of discrimination. The session includes a discussion of anti-racist strategies you can employ in your personal and professional life. Â
Please note that the program’s content is similar to a spring 2021 webinar presented by the Canadian Bar Association.Â
This on-demand program was originally broadcasted as a webinar on September 9, 2021. Total running time is 1 hour, 54 minutes. This on-demand program is complimentary.
