Municipal Power to Place Encumbrances on Title (On-Demand)

SKU: OC-62304-03

Several statutory provisions grant power to municipalities to register encumbrances on title. This presentation examines enforcement orders, caveats to protect municipal agreements, restrictive covenants, encroachment agreements, environmental reserve easements and conservation reserves, and deferred reserve caveats. It also provides guidance on how to remove the encumbrances, if possible.

This on-demand program was originally presented as an in-person program on March 16, 2023 as part of our Municipal Law program.

The total running time is approximately 1 hour, 2 minutes.
