From the perspective of land surveyors, this presentation examines issues that frequently arise with surveys in residential real estate transactions and real property reports. Looking at real life examples, it provides practical advice to lawyers about what to do when they encounter issues with RPRs, boundary disputes and discrepancies, encroachments, municipal compliance (or non-compliance), and disputes over ownership of retaining walls and fences. It also answers the question of what justifies updating an RPR.

Firm Broadcast License
A firm broadcast license allows firms or organizations to purchase an on-demand program for viewing as a group at a significantly discounted per person fee. Firm broadcast licenses are purchased by a facilitator who will receive access and is granted permission to broadcast the on-demand program for the pre-selected number of viewers. The facilitator may download and distribute program materials to viewers.
The on-demand program must be viewed by all viewers in the same location and at the same time. Access to the on-demand program (recording(s) and materials) will be available on the facilitator’s LESA.org account for one month after purchase.
