The Duty of Honest Performance and Good Faith (On-Demand)

SKU: OC-62484-6

It has been established in Canadian law that parties to an agreement have a duty of honesty and good faith in the performance of their contractual obligations. Canadian courts have had the opportunity to consider the application of this duty in a variety of circumstances relevant to M&A practitioners. This on-demand program outlines certain developments in this important area.

A roundtable questions and answers period is included.

This on-demand program was originally presented as an in-person program titled Legal Strategies in Mergers & Acquisitions on April 29, 2025.  Total running time is 37 minutes.

The facilitator may download and distribute program materials to viewers. The on-demand program must be viewed by all viewers in the same location and at the same time. Access to the on-demand program (recording(s) and materials) will be available on the facilitator’s LESA.org account for one month after purchase.
