This presentation aims to help more experienced family law lawyers finesse and fine tune their legal writing to effectively advocate for their clients. It examines effective writing styles generally and explores writing strategies and tips in the context of affidavits, orders, concise letters, summary trials, and case conferences.
This on-demand program was originally presented as an in-person conference from May 4–7, 2023 as part of LESA’s Refresher 2023: Family Law.

Firm Broadcast License
A firm broadcast license allows firms or organizations to purchase an on-demand program for viewing as a group at a significantly discounted per person fee. Firm broadcast licenses are purchased by a facilitator who will receive access and is granted permission to broadcast the on-demand program for the pre-selected number of viewers. The facilitator may download and distribute program materials to viewers. For additional information on how to be a facilitator, click here.
The on-demand program must be viewed by all viewers in the same location and at the same time. Access to the on-demand program (recording(s) and materials) will be available on the facilitator’s LESA.org account for one month after purchase.
