With plans to come into effect in Spring 2025,  the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) will be replaced by two separate pieces of legislation – the Protection of Privacy Act and the Access to Information Act. It is important for lawyers whose practices deal with privacy and access to information matters to understand what these changes mean. This webinar will explore the new privacy and access to information legislation, and discuss key considerations for lawyers on how the new legislation may impact their practices.
