This paper canvasses topics related to online services that can impact legal practice, including online agreements, acceptable use policies, service level agreements, and data security. Types of online services, such as software and cloud services, are highlighted. Other topics discussed include licenses, payment provisions, terms and termination, risk allocation, and other considerations for online service agreements.
